On April 30, 2024, Fubo lost 19 more networks after failing to reach a deal with Warner Bros. Discovery. Channels like HGTV, TLC, Food Network, Animal Planet, OWN, and the Discovery Channel were removed from the platform.

Why We Like Fubo

photo of a group of people watching sports on Fubo

Fubo has over 300 live channels, but its main selling point is its huge line-up of sports programming. You can watch games on ESPN, Fox Sports, MLB Network, NFL Network, NBA League Pass, NASCAR, Golf TV, and much more. Regional sports networks are also available to stream so you can keep up with your local teams.

But, Fubo’s channel line-up doesn’t stop at sports. It also includes big-name news networks like ABC, NBC, and Fox along with popular entertainment channels, such as MTV, Bravo, National Geographic, and the Hallmark Channel.

🏈 FuboTV is a sports enthusiast’s dream with access to ESPN, Fox Sports, and more, plus regional sports networks for local team coverage.

That said, Fubo doesn’t have everything. The service is notably lacking Turner-owned channels like CNN, Cartoon Network, TBS, TNT, and TruTV, as well as Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) and A&E channels, such as the History Channel, A&E, and Lifetime Movie Network.

In addition to live channels, Fubo also has some on-demand content, but it’s limited. Some Fubo plans feature select live events in 4K, but resolution for most programming maxes out at 720p.

FuboTV Streaming – How It Works

Fubo is a subscription streaming service that lets you watch live TV channels over your internet connection. Just like cable TV, you pay a monthly subscription, but there are no contracts, equipment fees, or hidden costs.

There are three main plans to choose from, plus a Latino plan for Spanish speakers. The plan you choose determines how many channels and features you get. All FuboTV plans include a 7-day free trial.

📆 Fubo offers a 7-day free trial, giving new users a chance to explore its features before committing to a subscription.

Is FuboTV Worth It?

photo of a soccer game playing on Fubo

FuboTV has tons of live channels geared towards sports fans, as well as a nice mix of entertainment and news channels. Overall, it is a great cord-cutting alternative to cable TV, but it is on the pricier end of the spectrum.

💸 FuboTV’s plans are more expensive than most streaming services, ranging from $72.99 to $99.99 per month.

If you really love sports, Fubo may certainly be worth paying extra for. The national sports channel line-up is similar to competitors like YouTube TV, but Fubo also has international sports channels.

However, if you don’t need every sports network under the sun and want to save on your monthly entertainment bill, you should look into comparable, cheaper streaming services like Sling TV or Peacock.
